Prince Harry, 34, and his pregnant wife, 37, are on their first official joint trip abroad since the May wedding, and are doing a 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, the Fiji Islands, and the Kingdom of Tonga. Many Australians were looking forward to the visit. The news that Meghan will have her first child next year, number seven in the line of succession, will delight the hosts.
Previously, it was already clear that the tour to the other end of the world would become a home game for the pair. In Australia, Queen Elizabeth II – Harry's grandmother – is head of state. All attempts to replace the Queen with an elected president failed. And in 2015, his brother, Prince William, and Duchess Kate had inspired the Australians. The two were at the time with the little George on the way, then only two.
